“My first visit to Texas Tech was amazing. By taking advantage of a school sponsored College Day from the community college I was attending at the time, I was exposed to what I would later learn to call home. The minute I stepped foot on campus I was emerged in all the rich traditions and the friendliness displayed by all across the university. From that moment on, I knew where I belonged and I worked hard to become a Red Raider.”
Before you leave town, Gabriel says to check out the cheese sticks from Spanky’s across the street from campus, “definitely a must-do while in Lubbock!”

“While attending Texas Tech, I was fortunate enough to gain an internship with the Athletic Department. This paved the way for many experiences I would have never been able to be a part of had I not been associated with such a great university. Working as both a Graphic Designer and Marketing Intern, I was able to gain not only memorable experiences but was also able to forge lasting relationships and networking possibilities. The opportunities are out there, you just have to take advantage of them while at Texas Tech.”
