What made you decide to come to Texas Tech?
“I wanted to follow in my family tradition to become a Red Raider! Coming to Texas Tech is the best decision I have ever made! I love the unity of the student body, the spirit, and the pride I feel when I see our red and black. Texas Tech thoroughly prepared me for the workforce and gave me the knowledge and confidence to achieve my goals. I love that I got to attend a university that exhibits tradition, respect, and achievement…and that is just the beginning!”
What advice do you have for freshmen?
“My advice to incoming freshman would be to meet as many new people as you can! I can honestly say that I have met my best friends in college and will always cherish the times we’ve had together! This is your time to shine, so get involved and make something of yourself to be proud of! Not only will you meet friends and other students, but contacts that can help you network and find job opportunities. Don’t forget about the studying part too!!”

What attracts you to Lubbock?
“I love the feel of this college town! It’s big enough to have all of the amenities that I like, such as shopping and dining, yet Lubbock still has that safe, smaller town feel to it. There is always something fun going on and it’s easy to meet with friends and socialize. The mountains are only about 3 hours away and it’s really fun to go snow skiing or sightseeing without having to drive very far!”
